BOOK FESTIVAL

Here are some photographs of me at a book festival in Chipping Sodbury a couple of years ago, signing a picture of 'Flip Flop' from my book "The Penguin who wanted to Fly".

Great name..."Chipping Sodbury",...I know a classic British village called "Six Mile Bottom!"

ABOUT ME

I have been a children’s book illustrator and author for nearly ten years now. I live in London and share a studio with other artists and writers. I also visit primary schools where I lead creative writing and art workshops. When I'm not doing my books and talking to children, I like to perform comedy improvisation for fun, which basically means getting up onto the stage, being silly in front of an audience, playing games and making it up as I go along. I also love dancing to music, I am particularly fond 80’s music…..but I've have also recently joined a choir that sings classical music!! When I'm not showing off you can find me walking in the countryside, talking to birds and any stray cats that will stop to chat. I'm also fond of a nice cup of tea and a slice of cake!
